Besides the Controversial discussion on this book, this book has good enough information to be a text book in some university research papers. The author Don Brown might have burnt lot of years on writing this book...
This book has thousand of information on art, science, geography. It takes you to France museums, art galleries, gives you a ride on high speed jet to England. Going through this book, you will be getting deep into Davinci's secret depictions on religious pictures. Don Brown brings the French museums & streets, Swiss banks in front of your eye.
Reading any fact files or document on architectural are usually be boring. But, this book, though with very rich content on science facts & style of documentary, is perfect mixture of facts and fast face. Simply the discovery documentary embedded in racy thriller movie. And the characters of this novel are so interesting. Each character has its own style and importance. Let it be Sophie’s brother or Swiss bank manager.
If you get a chance to read this book, my suggestion to you is, keep your internet ready to go. In lot of places, author describes about Davinci’s greatest art. If you haven't seen any of those arts, you may not able to get the real juice of what author trying to say. So when you cross any art info, just browse thru net, look at those pictures, and then continue reading.
If you are going to watch a movie "The Davincicode", please STOP. If you haven’t read the novel already and going to watch movie, better carry a big bucket of pop-corn, at least the pop-corn entertain you. This movie is only for those who has already read the novel version. In my view, this movie is not as greatly taken as the novels reach. This movie simply just tried to picturize Don Brown's words and poorly failed even with big stars like Tom Hanks.
Still you can watch this movie, to get how good the movie has matched your imaginative pictures you ran on your mind while reading the book.....
